Family Services, which happen on the first Sunday of the month, attract about a hundred people and are a subtle mixture of lively and thought-provoking, often involving a small piece of drama specially written for the occasion. Occasionally our Family Services, as they develop, incorporate communion, but always what we do has children and young people at the centre.
Local schools use the church from time to time for services and concerts and we greatly encourage their involvement. Nigel, our Vicar, regular takes what are best described as lively assemblies at our local Primary School.
Some years ago a church youth group began but it now has fairly tenuous links with the church. We are exploring ways of providing better for young people in the teenage age group and discussing the possibility of appointing a youth worker.
