Pamela Studd
I was born in Ipswich and moved to Aldeburgh with my husband and three children in the early 70's, where we spent 4 years living in the flat over the Bank, before moving to Aldringham, 2 miles outside of Aldeburgh. Whilst bringing up a family, I worked at the Aldeburgh Tourist Office, was involved with the
Aldeburgh Carnival for many years, Secretary of the Aldeburgh Branch of Save the Children Fund and a Governor of Leiston Primary School. Any spare time I have now is spent reading, gardening, going to the Theatre and being with my Grand-daughter.
My Christian faith has always played a role in my life as long as I can remember, beginning with Sunday School at the age of three and receiving a prize (David the Good Shepherd) for good attendance. At the age of six my Mother sadly died leaving a huge void in my life and I can now see that God was working through my family in guiding me through this difficult time. Through the Youth Fellowship at All Hallows Church Ipswich I met my husband John and many life long friends. It was also at this time that my listening skills came into fruition and now play a big part in my role as a Lay Elder. I feel very privileged to hold this role and one of the most important things I have learnt is not just praying to God but also listening to Him daily.
for you are safe in the love of Christ
