Music has a vital role to play in worship.   David Briggs, our Director of Music, sees music as part of worship and not separate from it.

We have a choir which sings at most services and there are many talented musicians in and around Aldeburgh.

We hope soon to form an orchestra, or at least an ensemble, to provide even more music in services.

One feature of church life is that we host a growing number of concerts during the year.

If you would like to stage a concert and are thinking of using Aldeburgh Parish Church as your venue, please contact David to discuss the possibilities.

As you would expect, music comes into its own during the Aldeburgh Festival in June each year and we host the opening service, details of which will appear on this page and elsewhere closer the time.
