Beta Group

and explore the Word of God

Following on from an Alpha course run in the parish some years ago, a small group continued to meet for study, discussion and fellowship.   Since this continued the practice of meeting during Alpha it seemed logical to call the group 'Beta' – and so it came into being.   Meetings involve the use of varied resources – videos, books, cultural study, different ways of worshipping, and include a chance to socialise and study.

Group members find that the meetings help enhance more formal patterns of worship, and add to Christian knowledge and background.

Beta has met on an occasional basis more recently but it is hoped to start meeting regularly again soon – keep watching for further details or send an email.
