Piano Appeal

and join in the music of heaven on earth

Our grand piano, used regularly in church services and concerts, is now almost a hundred years old.  Sadly, despite regular tuning, care and attention over the years, it has almost reached the end of its working life.  We are seeking to replace it with a re-conditioned Steinway ‘B’ grand piano and are appealing for donations, so that we may continue to provide music of the highest standard in our services, and in the many concerts held in Aldeburgh Parish Church each year.

Thanks to your generosity we have raised a substantial amount so far.  We hope to secure the remaining £3,000 soon.  We shall continue to hold fund-raising events but we now also invite donations from supporters all over the world.

Can you help?  Would your friends who value music like to help?   Donations of any amount will be gratefully received.  Please send your contribution (cheques payable to Aldeburgh PCC) to David Briggs, Director of Music, Aldeburgh Parish Church Office, Victoria Road, Aldeburgh, IP15 5EA, UK.  We shall be pleased to include your name in our Piano Appeal Donations Book; please indicate whether or not you wish your name to be included.  A donation by Gift Aid (if you are a UK tax payer) adds to the value of your donation.   Please indicate whether you wish to give by Gift Aid.

Thank you for supporting our Piano Appeal, thus ensuring that Aldeburgh Parish Church continues to be one of the foremost venues for music-making in the UK.
