Soul Sanctuary

and seek sanctuary for the soul

Soul Sanctuary is an imaginative development that was inspired by a table of people who sat together during our Alpha course in 2009.   They decided that they wanted to continue meeting and to use the church building in a different way, as a series of areas that people could visit at their own pace with things that would stimulate their own exploration of faith and inspire their worship.   There are no rules, no liturgy – just a freedom to explore.

 Occasionally Soul Sanctuary does use a simple liturgy but it is still a liturgy that engages the imagination.
Since it began Soul Sanctuary has attracted a group of people who would not always feel comfortable in a more structured service but who find a comfortable space and comfortable company through this monthly service.  
Soul Sanctuary takes place on the third Sunday of each month (with a couple of exceptions so please check our monthly calendar!) and begins at 7.15 pm and lasts until you feel the need to go home.
