Hello Nigel

All power to you, the Churchwardens and PCC. Keep the Bells ringing.

Who are these Philistines?  Shame on them, they don't deserve to live in such a beautiful place, so rich in heritage and culture.

I'll be thinking of you and praying for your service.  We are having Praise and Celebration in the Park on Sunday morning at the close of Ickenham Festival Week.

Every blessing

Dear Mr Hartley,

I've just read with incredulity about the attempt to silence the church bells. My office is just down the hill from the church, and I often hear the bells when I am working late into the evening. I love the sound, and as far as I am concerned they are an aid to concentration.

It would be a grievous loss if they were to be silenced. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.
